Compliments to Greig City Academy

I know that Scaramouch posts here occasionally, so wanted to say this publicly.

I was in Cowes Yacht Haven this weekend and moored close to the three boats that the academy is running. I was impressed with the gear, the boat handling and most of all with the behaviour of all the crews. From what I saw, they were a credit to themselves and their school.

Well done Greig City Academy and everyone involved.

Yes credit whgere it is due-we moored up at Lymington on the town pontoon and a sailing school boat rafted outside us. The crew/students clearly had not been instructed as to the etiquette of crossing other boats and they were all over. Some were even trying to pass over at the rear of the boat behind the rear rails. Some instinctively felt it was impolite to clamber across the cockpit as we were sat there but others had no idea.
