Hi, I'm fitting a small electric bilge pump to a 4.2m basic rib which is used all year round. Hand emptying getting to be a chore.
The 'sump' on the aluminium hull for the pump is approx 120mm / 100mm - so not massive, but ok. Any advice / thoughts as to a good simple pump - whether or not with a float switch - that I should look at? There are plenty out there on the market but interested if anyone has any experience with one.

I had one of these on a previous boat 10+ years ago and I was very unhappy with it. Of course they may have improved them considerably since then.
Agreed. Those Whale Supersubs are great in theory, but I’ve got through two under warranty in as many years. I’d save a bit of dosh and buy one of the Seaflow knock-offs.
