Interesting masthead, this month, Dan. I appreciate you don't want to give away the theatre potential, but can't you give this section of your parish a clue as to what variety or class your new heap of sticks might be? It sounds great, as you have already recognised you've gone clean off your rocker this time.

She's Nereis, FBR Brown's 1936 31ft sloop before the Mindy and Galloper made his name for him (in those days). Dan Webb built her in Maldon out of teak. I alluded to her in a Sternpost in CB135 - Sept 99, but the owner wanted more money than I had, so I've had to wait until she came in range. But the work needed! I think I'm going to break more than the bank balance this time!
