Colvic Vicor 40 Help Required

Due to the ill-health and now the sad death of my father in law, we are trying to finish a project he started many years ago. It's a Colvic Victor 40, fitted with a Thornycroft 250 diesel engine. It's almost finished but I am at present takling the engine and electrics with little documentation. Most of the engine is done, bar the wiring. With we have the plans for building the boat, which is 90% fitted out. We are also looking into deck hardware (we now have most of this)Any information regarding or advice or even useful links this would be much appreciated as I would like to get this boat in the water asap as a tribute to him and for his family to remember him by.
