Hello Everybody,
Have bought one of these boats today.Does anybody know if there is an owner's association?
And hello to any forumites in the same boat(ouch)

I've got the same boat had her for about year and really enjoyed sailing around the Bristol Channel...would like to take her further and hear from anyone else who has sailed them extensively..

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but we have just bought a Colvic 26 and I too was wondering if there was a class association. It would seem that the Countess and the Watson are both catered for, but the
As a thought, both the Colvic 26 and the 29 are David Feltham designs...would it be something that other owners of the 26 and 29 would be interested in forming?
Maybe as a bit of a wildcard thought here...the Cobra and Seawolf (also David Feltham designs) have a joint owners association...would there be any interest in welcoming two more Feltham designed boats into the Association?

Hi, I'm just buying a Colvic 27 and am looking for other owners too. Did you find a Facebook group? If not could we start something? I understood the 27 was actually a Peter Milne design (well that's what it says on the brochure.

Welcome

That is a completely different boat from the 26 referred to earlier. seem to remember there was a 23' version as well. aimed at the home completion market so sold as kits. I think Colvic moulded the hulls and decks and took over marketing when the original promoters failed. It was a very crowded market and the time and don't think many were actually made.

It would still be nice to be part of a Colvic forum, and usually as a group one can do things like organise rallies, share information about similar boats, and occasionally get discounts from places. Maybe others will read this and feel the same? Do you own a Colvic? From all accounts the Colvic hulls were really well made and the boats have lasted well. I think the business may still exist but under a different name.

as smithy said there is a facebook group of a few owners which is getting more active recently. well worth joining.
