Colvic 31 motorsailer

I own a Colvic 31' motorsailer most probably built in 1976. I have to renew my registration form and according to the new european bureaucracy I need to know the serial number of the craft. As I am unable to find any reference to Colvic my question is the following : Is there an identification number on the hull and where can I find it ?

I THINK THERE IS A NUMBER STAMPED ON THE HULL AT THE STERN OF THE BOAT HIGH UP AT THE GUNNEL

Yes, my CC33 has a number stamped high centre of the transom.

Mine was built in '79 but I don't recall having to quote a serial number when I renewed my registration recently. However mine was home completed (by me) and maybe it only applies to boats bought complete. The other respondants seem to know about this number. I must go and check on mine.
