You are right, I haven't noticed it.
But what can we conclude from the fact, there there are no shrouds and no forestay? One possible answer: this rig is not for sailing, maybe it is just for stabilization (this would also explain the size of the sail). In this case, it is not a sailing vessel and rule 18a must be applied.
