Cockpit Caulking black stains

The teak cockpit caulking in my recently purchased boat is leaving black stripes on our trousers and also staining the adjacent fibreglass .Is there a remedy other than replacing the caulking which otherwise seems sound ?

It's most likely to be UV degradation of the caulking. It's often only a surface effect, so you can usually wash the loose stuff off with sudsy water.

We had this issue on our Bavaria- we had to replace the sticky caulking on the cockpit sole. We thought it was due to cheap caulking as after using Sika we didn’t have the issue on the replaced parts.
