Coachbolts

I have been trying to buy some M8 x 150mm coachbolts.

I went to Screwfix to get some but, unlike the 'traditional' partially threaded type, theirs are fully threaded and that's not what I want.

As I drove away, screaming with rage and frustration, I began to wonder, what use is there for a 150mm (6") coachbuilt threaded all the way to the head?

Is there not something here to fit the bill

We used coach screws to fix down the engine mountings when we re-engined.

Eventually I did what I should have done in the first place - spoke to Kev at A2A4 Fastenings. He has checked with his supplier and will get exactly what I want tomorrow and post it (and a few other items) to me by 1st class post for £3.95 p&p.

Good people a2a4, Anglia stainless steel are also a great company to deal with.
