My fenders are now pretty grubby and in need of a good clean. Can anyone suggest what to use without having to resort to expensive marine cleaners.

Give us a clue of the type, and material of construction please, otherwise it's telepathy, and I always elbow grease for that.

Same problem BUT efficacy much more important than cost - I've long since stopped adding it up. If it works and can't knowingly be undersold, then go for it!

Hlb's "boat remover elixir"send him a PM or ask a clique

member where to get some from, then when clean a bit of car

wax makes it easier to clean next time

cheers Joe

My fenders now look perfect once again. They were extremely badly stained and had abrasion marks.

Overall they were obviously well past their sell-by date. Repairs with 'Nail and Seal' had not helped other than to keep the air in.

I bought some fleece material from a 'roll ends' shop and made up some fender socks. Now they just go in the washing machine.

Mr Clean magic eraser is that available in the UK ?
