They were extremely badly stained and had abrasion marks. Overall they were obviously well past their sell-by date. Repairs with 'Nail and Seal' had not helped other than to keep the air in. I bought some fleece material from a 'roll ends' shop and made up some fender socks. Now they just go in the washing machine.

[/ QUOTE ] Mr Clean magic eraser is that available in the UK ? also excellent for removing scuff marks from fibreglass and algae from the waterline
