Anyone? How do you use it? Dilute to what strength? Leave for how long in the pipes etc? Please?![]()

I ended up putting about a teacup full of neat Hydrochloric Acid 36.2% down the pipe, reckoning that it would be diluted by the 'liquid' left in the pipe, and leaving it for a couple of weeks (as I went away). When I got back, the pipe was cleared and been ok all the rest of the year. No problem with Joker valve, pipes or fittings but some of the unpolished stainless had been discoloured.
