Cleaning a Jabasco wc

Anyone? How do you use it? Dilute to what strength? Leave for how long in the pipes etc? Please? :)

When I did mine, I ask about it on this thread:
http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?402371-Hydrochloric-Acid-36-2
I ended up putting about a teacup full of neat Hydrochloric Acid 36.2% down the pipe, reckoning that it would be diluted by the 'liquid' left in the pipe, and leaving it for a couple of weeks (as I went away). When I got back, the pipe was cleared and been ok all the rest of the year. No problem with Joker valve, pipes or fittings but some of the unpolished stainless had been discoloured.

Just straight forward brick cleaner ( or perhaps patio cleaner) from Travis Perkins etc will be OK. No need to dilute
Just put some in the bowl for 4-5 minutes & scrub round with an old brush. I was so pleased with the club bowl that i have been down to my boat & done the same again. This time, because the boat was in the water i was able to really flush it through in case any acid damaged the valves. Then , as it will be laid up for the winter, i put in some fresh water through it & added some Portapotti pink water addmix
With modern stuff you may need to leave it in for 10 minutes max

My bowl is clean, I'm fastidious that way :)

I want to try to ensure the pump and outlet pipe are cleaned through so that the 'bore' doesn't become gradually congested and reduced.

Then why not remove the pipe, Let the lining dry & then bend the pipe a bit to crack the caked on lining & see if it breaks away. Alternatively soak some rags in brick cleaner & pull through a few times with a wire or a string.
Quite honestly if the pipe gets that blocked then just renew it. By the time it blocks it will probably start to perish any way
