I seem to have volunteered myself for the job of cleaning the jabsco heads of the club committee boat.
The unit is now out of the boat & the bowl is in a disgusting state having calcium & stains for the bottom third of the bowl.
I am loathe to try any abrasive as once the bowl is scratched it will stain much quicker than it already has.
I would rather not scrap the bowl yet until I have tried cleaning it. Has anyone any advice on the best cleaner for this plastic bowl.
I know oxalic acid is OK for gel coats. Would it do here- I ask because I have bought a fair quantity of the crystals
