Re: A doctor writes ...

the poor man needs sympathy in his hoor o' need nae knocking seven bells o' hell oot aw his boatie .. wi the weather up there, she'll get pressure washed every ither day ....

we could always ask solicitously how the season went with his new elelctric anchor and the ebespacher heater. he'll no doubt be very satisfied and pleased that we asked. especially the heater which blew soot into the cabin leaving everybody looking like a coalminer after a hard days work ......

Sorry for my callous and unthinking post. If there are any baby wipes left they will do a grand job with the soot. Perhaps you could market the peaceful snoozing / wind and sea noise tape as one of those relaxation jobbies and make a few bob out of the idle git!

I know, 'cos I was there!

Re: electric anchor

So how does an electric anchor work? Is it a way of stunning the fish fer yer fish suppers? How do you earth an electric anchor? How do prevent the entire boat from being fried? Does the anchor chain rust quicker? Do electric anchors glow in the dark?

Sad but true. These raggies and their tales of epic adventures, dreamt up from the comfort of a warm dry study, with a few glasses of malt, idling away the winter months......

how fast can you run Whisper?
