Does anyone know the best spot to anchor or if there is anywhere we are not supposed to anchor?
Never been before and imagine there is a restricted area for the duration of the show?

There's a buoyed exclusion zone off the beach. You can anchor outside this. There's a commentary on local radio which may be interesting.

Has anyone got a program yet? if so can you advise of flight times please.
I called them today to try and buy one over the phone. They can't do that as there are no "procedures" in place which allow that, you can't buy them on the internet either! You have to go to Clacton to buy one! I did explain that this isn't much help if you are sailing there! - Sadly the luger wielding Gestapo old cow I spoke to, was rather less than helpful!!
