Christmas Party

Now the season of goodwill approaches perhaps the contributors could have a party ... but as part of the fun is never really meeting each other .. then we could dress up with in SAS balaclavas & throw turkey sausages & drink containers at each other from passing boats whilst conducting conversations via Email. A few high powered motor boats are probly required so we can do a round Britain trip to pick up most of the British based contributors. Perhaps the foreign guys could hire a few wind powered hot air balloons & participate by bombing the rest with Xmas puddings. PWC to be used as tenders. What do ya reckon?

The mistake was not inviting all of us. SWMBO was most put out when she stumbled across the piccies (checking up on my posts!). She said that it looked positively empty and you could get at least another 100 peeps in there. When she saw poor old haydn sat there on his own she just wanted to give a big big hug!

As they have brought the show date forward, we could start on Dec 31 and finish on Jan 3. Have you got room for the kids? I still have a few bottles of Aldi own brand Shandy left over from last year so no worries about the booze.

Och, we're early ..when one drifts gently towards one's destination it helps to hae a wee bit of forward planning! ... With 2 n's not one!... We're counting on you chaps with the big motors cos' if we've got to sail our round Britain the Xmas party could turn into an Easter one by the time we reach Claysie babe!

Actually, I have sailed a yacht backwards! With the genoa poled out & a gybe preventer fitted its perfectly feasible in not too strong winds!
