Choosing between 2 boats

Hey all - hoping someone out there can help me make this decision!

I’ve narrowed down my choice for my next boat to:

1. Beneteau Gran Turismo 40, 2019

2. Sunseeker San Remo 48, 2014

Similar prices. And similar features.

Anyone with knowledge of these boats and an opinion on which is better, and why?

I’m upgrading from a fairly new Yamaha 252SD which my family has outgrown.

Thanks for any insight! And if you happen to have a San Remo in the VA/MD/DC area, please let me know, I’d like to see one in person (the one I found is online).

That sounds like a considerable upgrade.
Surely a 48 is a much bigger boat compared to a 40 ?

I agree that there is quite a size difference in your selections but assuming the 48 is well maintained, in good condition, and you are fully confident in handling that size of boat, and don't mind the additional expense/running costs, you might soon regret buying the 40. If you take the wife, I reckon I know which one she might choose....
