Chinese Racor fg500

Any one had issues with the drain off tap on the chinese fg500 filters. Opened mine yesterday and drained bowl, closed it and diesel continued to run out. Wondering if the original Racor drain off tap will fit as i see available online as a replacement altho cost more than the entire filter which i bought in china. Im using it for tank cleaning, not in my fuel line. Cheers

When I fitted my Chinese copy I replaced all the o rings just to make sure and only use genuine filters, never had any issues with leaks etc
