Chichester to Plymouth (and Back) Final Part in Pic\'s
Part 1
Part 2
OK Lets finish of this long running picture post of our trip to the southwest and back.
Part two ended with us leaving Torquay heading back east. We had hoped to put in to Weymouth as we have never been there. Unfortunately Weymouth was full so it was back to Poole. This was a bit disappointing as we had been to Poole already.
Lifeboat in Poole waiting for the bridge
Not much else to show of the town. It was really nice in the harbour when we left the next day.
Brownsea Island
And a couple more shots of the chain ferry
Another MOBO
And another /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[ [image]

Leaving Poole behind us,
And this was the view south from Christchurch bay
Right you need to look hard in this one. What I was trying to capture was about 1 million yachts up ahead, (it was Cowes week) somehow we had to get through them all. If only they would all go in the same direction.
So after Poole we decided to head for Swanick as we would get a free night there as Premier customers. Theses are a regular sight as you approach the Hamble
However theses are not! well maybe they are but I have never seen one this far west. I thought the Gosport ferry had got lost. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Chase me up the river and passed me, so much for the speed limit.
On our last leg we stopped off at Gosport and visited the Submarine museum. It’s a good place to go and the tour of the sub was excellent.
The following morning an Aircraft Carrier came in to Portsmouth, like a city passing the marina!
Seemed to have a friend following a bit later.
So it was over on the ferry to Gunwharf for some shopping with SWMBO
And that is about it, nice weather almost all of the time, still can’t believe it. I do have some video but I am not sure I will live long enough to upload it.
