Did they buy and order it in Martinique...as we are near there and may be looking at getting Starlink!

I think so. But best to check for yourself as things change rapidly.
We've decided not to go for Starlink ourselves, it's still cheaper to just use a local SIM for the amount of data we use. But we may consider it for the next time we are crossing an ocean, with the inReach as a backup.
