I second that for Ryobi. And the range of tools which use the same batteries are quite good. I had to take down some Lleylandi trees and Ryobi make a an electric saw with a 6ft pole so if I lean a ladder against the tree and go as high as I can then reach up with the pole and start cutting the smaller branches at the top, working down, then I change to a Bosche saw and start to cut through the tree itself. The Ryobi "Saw on a Pole" is about £29. Peanuts if you already have the batteries.
They also do a hand car vac which takes the batteries.
