Chart (new editions)

I need to buy Imray C23. I see the latest edition is Aug 2004. I would be annoyed if my 'new' chart was superceded a month later.

Q. Does anyone know when the next edition comes on sale?

I suspect not, it's a bit like a car company with an impending new model. You'll not be told the launch date, for fear that 'old' model sales will dive.

A. Yes, I imagine Imray know.

Your whole point seems to be that you believe Imray won't tell anyone, so how are we expected to know? Why not ask Imray, then instead of merely suspecting they won't tell, you'll know one way or the other.

C23 is, I think, pre-WGS84, so I imagine that it'll be revised before too long. How long 'too long' is you can guess as well as I can.

On Imray's website there is a 'contact' button.. Press this and you can e-mail them.

A. Thank you for your enquiry.

Our chart C23 is due for revision within the next few months. However, at this stage, I cannot say whether it will be issued as a new edition or will only require an updated reprint - a decision on this will be made nearer the time. Suffice to say that an revised version will be available around July this year.
