I thought I would share this as a Christmas present to you all.
I have been searching for a violet ink pen that would write on Imray and French SHOM charts.
You know, they have a sort of waterproof coating on them.
Until the Hydrographic Office started walking, or should I say, sailing away from us leisure users I used a 'proper' Faber-Castell 0.18 pen for Admiralty charts - but such pen doesn't work on the charts I am now forced to use.
Anyhow, the 'Pentel RSVP' range do a violet ink, fine nib ball point - others I tried said 'fine' but wrote like an a emulsioning brush !
You'd have to buy a pack of 12 - mine came from New Zealand via a firm called Fishpond.com and cost £14.97 and shipping was free.
Happy Christmas and Correcting !
