We’re planning to spend a month in the CI this year. Does anyone know if I can get a data only sim that works on all three islands? I mean a “local’ service, not one that would work as roaming (which most would). Thanks

The last time I used a phone / tablet in the CI's was about four years ago.
As I remember it they have it all stitched up, Jersey and Guernsey Telecom are different providers and didn't connect with UK sims. I had to buy a local sim.
Things may have changed, but I wouldn't bet on it!.
The best info will come from a CI contributor, I see Seaway Channel's boat is Jersey registered, so his advice should be good.

We spent some time there last year. There are two local providers Sure and someone else. Pretty much same price, both exceptionally cheap for data compared to most other places. I think Sure was £10/month unlimited data. This is because the CIs have huge bandwidth available for the gambling industry via undersea fibre connections, and to keep the locals sweet fibre was installed all over the islands for broadband. Add to this the limited user base meaning oversubscription isn't an issue, and you get a very reasonable cost mobile connection.
Loads of shops stock the SIM cards so easy to find.

Jersey telecom operate in both bailiwicks as I think do Airtel Vodafone. As said it’s a fairly good service with high speed internet around the islands.
