Changing MMSI DEBEG3818

Hy all i have an MF/HF controller and i want to change the MMSI, how i can do that, because i found no menu inside, or i don't know to access it.

MMSI programming is supposed to be a single-shot thing - it will be necessary to erase the programmed MMSI before a new one can be set and this generally requires some external engineering equipment. Talk to the manufacturer?

In that case, you'll probably need to get hold of a copy of the service manual - and quite likely also need some external programming equipment. Few, if any, devices can be reprogrammed via the front panel.

I have not come across any DSC radios that can have the MMSI reprogrammed without returning to the manufacturer or approved service centre.

Sorry, no - you misunderstand me - I don't know that particular radio, but it is almost always the case that it is a job for an engineer with access to specialist equipment. The service manual will describe how to do it - without access to a copy of the service manual, you are unlikely to succeed.

Same with Nexus NX2000 DSC VHF. A 'secret menu' (which is in the handbook). 2 second job to erase.

Hy all, i looked at documentation given by ka4wja but i found nothing that can help me to program that DEBEG 3818.
