I need to change my shorepower cable. It's got a Marinco plug on the boat end and I want to change this onto the new cable but can't see how to dismantle it. Pretty expensive for a new one so don't want to damage it. Anyone know how to do it?

Thanks Portofino It's not quite like that. But it does have a couple of screws similar so I guess that's the way in.

Why not cut the existing cable short leaving the existing Marinco then add a standard male end connector.. This then makes an ideal adapter for any length of standard boat/caravan supply cable. The last couple of feet of cable on the boat is usually in better condition than the rest that trails on pontoons and gets easily damaged.
