Are you sure? Perhaps you could share with the forum the symptoms of exposure to non-ionising radiation?I've never heard of anyone being injured by radiation from a radome or a radio.

RF exposure is why I only use my phone on speaker. I also knew a person that developed a tumour in his groin where he kept a mobile in his pocket. Admittedly it was the older type which put out more RF, but minimising exposure can’t do any harm.The son of a work colleague and a very regular mobile phone user developed a brain tumour which was fatal.
The medics blamed the phone use . It was around late 1990s .
The difference is I don't think leisure boaters use marine vhf radio on tx all day long and you don't have the antenna held just above your ear. The exposure time is minimal.
I'm sure the forum is aware of the symptoms. Probably similar to the symptoms of using a mobile phone.
