I did it with a Swedish registered yacht about 20 years ago. The SSR application form took about 10 minutes to complete. As title, how is this achieved as may be looking at a boat that is Polish flagged and would prefer to move it to SSR?

Just to say register a boat on the SSR 20 years ago and now is world's partI did it with a Swedish registered yacht about 20 years ago. The SSR application form took about 10 minutes to complete.
Your comment caused me to take a look ?Just to say register a boat on the SSR 20 years ago and now is world's part
I think you'll find that now they ask for evidence of things that 20 years ago were taken on trust. I had to provide a passport number (there were alternatives if you didn't have a passport) and a copy of the bill of sale.Your comment caused me to take a look ?
You’re right, it has changed over 20 years. I completed a piece of paper application form. Today, it looks like the same application is made on-line. The website says that one needs to set-up an account so what was 10 minutes 20 years ago is now probably 15 minutes. Progress, eh ?
Oh it don't stop thereYour comment caused me to take a look ?

Ok, but none of that is difficult, onerous or time consuming.I think you'll find that now they ask for evidence of things that 20 years ago were taken on trust. I had to provide a passport number (there were alternatives if you didn't have a passport) and a copy of the bill of sale.
