Cetrek autopilot parts

I have a Cetrek 707 autopilot, which I think must be about 10 years old. The pilot still works well, but the fluxgate compass with it has broken down. This is a 930-578 compass, controlled by the 930-628 distribution box. The agent here in Australia tells me to throw it all away and get a new autopilot. Does anyone know if the fluxgate compass currently being sold by Cetrek works with this old system?

Have you tried contacting Cetrek direct? They have a web site

As they supply a lot of stuff to the commercial market, they have a repairs department which would probably still be able to fix your unit.

You could try going to a boat jumble.

There was quite a bit of Cetrek stuff at Beaulieu yesterday.
