Just so people are awhere there are now charging 11 euros for going on to the custom quay , a away to avoid paying it is , don't give the, your ropes to help you moor up , say no thanks and do the job your self ,
The 11euros is for the guy to take your ropes nothing to do with the quay , it all official and you will find a notices on the quay in small writing ,
We did has we did last time here in 2014 when the charge was 5 euros , we just didn't pay .
It's a real shame because Cavtat is a lovely town and people first impression isn't going to be good , but has I said you don't need to pay if you take our advise .
Just like last time port police wasn't interested if any thing their try and keep there distain for what happening .
We plain to up date our cruising site for Croatia , link below .
Checking took all of 10 mins ,
Only interested in passport and reg document .
The cost of every thing for 3 months was around 145 euros , althought the permits last for one year .
