"CAN ANYONE HELP, PLEASE, I know how to show an Image on the Net but how do i show an image from my comp.? "

1) You can't ....... well that's unless your Comp, is a recognised web server of course, but in those cases you would know the IP address and have a permanent comms link in and ...... too complicated...

2) Post the picture on the web .... have seen some people in here hosting some sort of picture gallery somewhere....., who may be able of helping...

Where do you get a free web account?

I've just bought a digital camera and would like to share some images.

Posting Pix

Boatone (a poster of this Parish) very generously hosts a picture site which anyone can use so long as they adhere to his techy requirements, which don't look onerous to me (though what do I know?). Go to the site <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.boatsontheweb.com/>http://www.boatsontheweb.com/</A> and have a look at the bit on how to post pix, together with links to appropriate free software to help you.

You can then put your pix in the Boaters' Gallery bit and link to them, so that we can all see what you're up to!
