Not being a great one for the ways of the world, I've been wondering about Catmandoo's tagline.

After some serious research, it looks suspiciously like something that almost led to divorce a few years ago. I bought a round for Mrs Sgeir and friends while at a Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh. The fact that they could not drink it, and that I proceeded to drink theirs, gave rise to an unfounded suspicion that I was an unreformable alkie and general piss-artist.

Would Catmandoo care to comment on his take on Mautai?

Mautai helps you to achieve what you might not manage without!

I was in a Chinese restuarant in Wulian, Shandong, China and if it were not for a Chinese guy trying to take me, a Scott on at a drinking contest, I would never have been able to eat those scorpions, cicadas and giant maggots the size of your thumb.

Heres to Maitai

Gambei!

52% + alcohol content if I remember right !!!!!!!!!!

I hear that oriental people lack the gene that detoxifies alcohol and are therefor affected far more than a westerner. That is why we see so many Japanese businessmen staggering about with bright red faces after a few pints.
