Can anyone help please! I am searching, somewhat frantically, for a copy of the 1972 ish P&O General Cargo Division/P&O Strath Services Catering Manual which was issued to P&O vessels after 1971 when, in the"October Revolution" P&O took over British India Steam Nav.Co, Strick Line, NZ Shipping Co etc etc. The reason is that we, the BI survivors, are having a 150th Anniversary of the founding of BI Reunion in Goa in 2006. I have undertaken to compile a"BI Recipe book", mainly Curries, to mark the occasion as a souvenir. The P&O manual contained virtually all the traditional BI fare and the best curries,all we can recall is that it had a yellow cover and the author was the P&O Supply Manager Graham Davy(aka Boss Hog!) If anyone knows of a copy I can loan to photocopy/buy or even charter, it would assist greatly. Maybe someone out there souvenired a copy which might still be in the shed/loft?
