it is not a yacht's paperwork (Acte de Françisation)

It is not either skipper's qualifications? ( permis de navigation)

For me it is simply a "Navigation chart"..

I've found this French canal boat rental site

that refers to Carte de navigation. The translation appears to be "sailing plan". It's down near the bottom of the page.

We are planning to move our boat to a marina in Brittany and they require (alongside payment)

This is why we did not think it was a chart but some sort of documentation. Thanks for everyone's help to date.

OK..
The only place wher I can see "Carte de navigation " is in the paragraph :
- Montant de la location:
- Carte de navigation 26€ (facultative)
(expédiée à la confirmation de réservation) €

In this case it is a "navigation chart" (26€) (sent at the confirmation of the reservation)
