for the CO alarm its not clear from the add if it has "an end of life" I would always go for an end of life one. that means that 5 years after activation the alarm will chirp all the time until you dump and replace it..
having said that better to have one than none.

Not difficult to confirm.

From the user guide:

WARNING: After seven (7) years from initial power up, this alarm
will “beep” every 30 seconds to indicate that it is time to replace
the alarm. Replace the alarm immediately! It will not detect CO in
this condition.

Note hugely cheap though. I bought the exact model in a pack with two smoke alarms from the local hardware store for not much more.

It's good price I think for the CO alarm on its own. You might equal it but I dont think you'll beat it.
If you can walk into your local Aldi without making a special journey to some distant store or paying P&P on top of a mail order price it is probably a good deal.

Bundled with a couple of smoke alarms is a better deal if you want the smoke alarms otherwise no great advantage.

The fact that it is a leading brand caught my attention!

However if of no interest ... ignore!
