Hi all,
like me I am all sure we are desperate to get back to sailing, and the potential lift of travel from May 17th,
I have booked flight with Ryanair going to Athen landing at 12pm, on the 26th may I will need to hire a car to get to lefkas Marina, and my return flight is from prevaza with easyJet. On the 8th June
my question is as follows

is anyone one on the same flight going to Athens on that day? And would like to car share

does anyone after the 26th May need a car to get back to Athens where you can be added as a driver?
I not asking for money, I am asking if I can help, in return I can hire the car for a shorter period and get it back to Athens rather than paying for the extortionate price of one way

if there is no other option I will consider the bus, which is 6 hrs

regards

Easiest way is to book in at Peris hotel, he will pick you up from the airport, then catch the bus, i can tell you that the taxi fare to Lefkas is around 140 euros! the bus stops on the way for a brew.

Ive done the bus from Athens to Kalamata and beyond. Its a great way to see a bit of "real" Greece rather than the usual tourist bits and marinas. Cheap too!

There is a taxi firm ('Joseph') which runs a minibus from Athens to Preveza (and back) which I used in November last year. Picked me up from the yard very early and dropped me off at the hotel. Euro 50. I think the airport was a bit more expensive. Got the info here: Preveza to Athens

Thanks everyone, I have sent an email,
next on my list is a cheapest marina to winter in September this year closer to Athens, as the cost for a marina doesn’t not warrant the cost.
any info or websites would be useful, I have already reviewed Jim’s website

Of course it may have changed by then, but are you aware that:

Anyone entering Greece from the UK will also be asked to undergo a rapid test for COVID-19 on arrival. Arrivals from the UK are currently required to self-isolate for 7 days in the event of a negative test result.
