It was yesterday's regatta, all weather lifeboats from Margate, Ramsgate and Dover joined with Walmer's two and they along with the Anglian Monarch, some paratroopers and the fishing fleet entertained the assembled crowd.

They put on a variety of rescue demonstrations including each boat picking up a winched 'casualty' from the MCA team on the pier, on the ocassion pictured the Dover 'boat got a little too close and the current took care of the rest; they were pulled off in the end. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
