\'Captains Lamp\'. Where can I buy?

My wife has seen a boat with a gimballed 'Captains' style lamp which runs on 12v attached to the mast compression post and would like one on our boat but we cannot find where to obtain one. It looks like a traditional paraffin lamp complete with shade but is 12v.

Can anyone help please

Get an oil Fastnet lamp - fabulous warm light and a certain aroma.

Try a post on the Classic Boat Forum- if they don't know a stockist, one of them probably makes them!

You could try a "Davy lamp"or miners safety lamp. E Thomas Williams still do them up the Rhondda, we use one in the saloon.
