They closed down a couple of days before last Christmas. Many bargains were to be had- i bought all my anti-fouling there. They have been bought by a new owner, and when I walked past a week ago there was sign saying reopening early March -
but the shop was still shut with signs of refitting taking place.

The company that owned them went bust, one of many bankruptcies enjoyed by its principal, and an "enthusiastic" customer at the very last minute bought them out. It now looks like the poor chap's plans are fished up by asbestos in the building, which they've been working on for the last month or so.
