This was taken from 2.5miles off shore.

After all the months of reading, planning, worrying, etc etc, we had less than 5knots of wind, sea state slight. Vis was only one mile all the way, but no major issues .... (touches wood rapidly). Burned yet more diesel (circa 3.8 litres per hour at 6.8knots), but we are now past Caraminas and ETA La Coruna is 0030.

Supper's on the stove - thai chicken green curry tonight.

You sound dissapointed Nick /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif glad its going well,better to be burning up diesel than stuck in harbour somewhere storm bound.
