Canopy Zip

Anyone know where i can get a 65 inch zip for my canopy? Also is there anything that will make tem run more smoothly?
The winter had taken its toll on mine.

I have a special zip care fluid for my drysuit, it is very good, clear, and is brushed on with a small brush attached to the top of the 2 fl oz (59ml) bottle.

Can't remember the price.

This is a differnt type 125cc and a bit expensive (£16.95), but gives you the idea of what it is about. Try searching some other diving shops, same principal for zips that need protecting from corrosion and keeping them flowing freely I guess.

Don't know where you could get a zip from.

Try rubbing a candle up and down it a few times or a hard beeswax bar. I know the candle works on tent zips and HWMBO uses beeswax on his drysuit zip.

Go to a sail maker or marine upholsterer. They have every zip known to man or beast.

Or you could go to any dive shop and ask for "ZipSlip". Its good stuff, waterproof too.

Thats for the rubber bit on the cuffs and neck not the zip.
