i`ve trawled the internet looking for a second hand cover for my Mayland Maestro, none to be found , are there any alternatives other than spending £ 500 upwards , thanks again guys

You will struggle to find a second hand cover. Most covers are made to fit each individual boat.

Contact a few local canopy makers and get their prices.

Also worth noting that the cheapest canopy isn't necessarily going to be the best option. You need to live with the canopy when on the boat so having zips and openings in the right places and a canopy that works for you is probably better then saving a few hundred quid and getting one that doesn't.

If I'm honest £500 sounds very cheap and I would be questioning what you are going to get for that price.

I think £500 is pretty cheap for a full cover with windows, zips etc. A tonneau cover for my Fairline 21 was over £600 inc vat.
Make sure you look after it...regular cleaning and reproofing add years of life.

Just realised from your other thread that you are on LL....try Isobel at Made on the Loch, http://www.madeontheloch.co.uk/,
She made me a canopy for my boat on LL last year. Good job at a reasonable price, and on the spot to measure and ensure a proper fit.
