and not riding over the wave that poops you /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Interesting bit Heavy Weather Sailing about getting trashed in a Tumlare (double ender) due to not rising to a large wave, nearly lost the boat /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I allways fancied the look of a double ender until I saw one pitching violently moored to a pontoon in about a half meter chop. All the other boats were pitching but MUCH less. Im reluctant to name the design but it was a well respected quality boat of well known design.
Biased cos we've got one. Contrary to previous post, she sits there almost steady as all the boats around bob up and down to the chop on the river, but that might be because she's 13 tonnes c.f 8 for a Ben/Jen/Bav.
