Canaries Lay-Up - advice please!

Any recommendations/experiences re above? I'm looking to lay-up my yacht for about 6 months, prob in Gran Canaria or Tenerife. Cost is important, but so is security.

So am I! But I want to leave my boat in Lanzarote, for 3 weeks. Thought about leaving her on anchor in Puerto Naos. Any thoughts on this, please?
