I can see mine on the Brighton Marina web cam, which is reassuring when I leave her for a few weeks... yep, still floating

According to google maps mines on the front drive and I'm looking forward to street view being updated so I can see it there. Was on a webcam at Bafouth but only when the tide was on the way in. Always caused a moments consternation when she wasn't in sight. No webcam where she is now but means I don't feel the need to keep putting a 'puter on every 10 min to have a look

Well, after a nice sail his boat is back on its mooring. Face is feeling very flushed and lips slightly chapped.
This webcam shows a few boats and his is one of them= but which one?????

Phone this number: 07800560773 for 3 rings and hang up (so costs nothing) and hopefully some interior lights I installed for him will shine for 30 secs and then turn off. Screen refreshes every 30 secs so I best go back and set lights to stay on for 60 secs I guess.
Very reassuring to see at night when a gale is blowing=but we used belt and braces on the mooring so all should be well= but still nice to see it night and day.
At moment it is just a bit of fun.
Just tried it, but not dark enough yet= it is boat at about 2 o'clock position, top third of screen, just above 2 moored dinghies with covers on.
Not my sailing club, but a great club just for having a webcam imo.

were in south channel Tollesbury, nice n peaceful it is too.

We didn't get past Osea today. Very calm. South channel gets a bit shallow doesn't it? And you have to squeeze between the moorings. Listening to the gurgle of mud and tweets of birds = don't know what types = is nice though. Or do you mean you just anchored for a while as opposed to staying overnight?

There you go... it pans round and catches a glimpse of my yacht every couple of minutes.

Flippin heck, you got rain up there. I feel like I got sunburnt and had factor 50 on today.

Don't worry though, I sure this sunny spell won't last. Today was such a lovely sail (I'm showing him what ropes do what and so forth - he hasn't sailed for a few years) that it is bound to be a one off and rain for the rest of the season - like last year.

Well it works.
Draws less than 100 mili Amps.
The light is positioned in centre of boat and has small windows, so it is not a bad result = could be better =webcam seems to have lost a bit of resolution = excuses, excuses. Only took 3 minutes to wire it up though.
Next time I will tape the leds to the windows.
