Mixing paint for a colour is a good idea, this is the second time someone posted a mix of grey and white. Do anything special to mix them or just slop equal amounts in a bucket and stir?

Think I posted this elsewhere a while back, both tins tipped into in a clean new tin, mix thoroughly, away you go painting.
The key for me was careful masking, particularly the small radius corners, mask them square then use a selection of different sized bottle caps and carefully trim around with a scalpel / new stanley knife blade.

When I had to paint the wall on a house, the owner wanted pink, so we got pink, but it wasn't pink, it was PINK, so I mixed in a bit of green to tone it down without altering the colour much. Throw it in a bucket and stir twice as long as you think, making sure to get the bottom and sides swirling round. A paint stirrer to go in your drill will cost you peanuts.

Top tip - be sure to mix enough to do a full coat, preferably the whole job, in one go. You will never get the exact same shade next time. Even the pros recommend getting all the same batch when you buy several tins of the same colour.

As with any product - always try to buy with same Batch Number ....
