Help required.

A mate of mine - by the name of Alan - has recently(in the last few months) acquired a Moody 54 and based her on the south coast.

I would like to pay a surprise visit to him. ( He was my best man when I got married in 1970)

These are the only details I have.

Your mission - if you choose to accept it - is to give me the boat name, location etc.

So easy eh - only 3 million boats in the Solent to choose from! Try Swanwick for big Moodys - they might tell you on the phone.

Oh, I just googled it and he is listed here in 2005 so maybe not him. Good try. Could be the same boat though.

Entry on the MARS database was updated last month and it's still showing Mr Walker as the owner.

It gives an MMSI number, so you could try sitting in the middle of the Solent and giving him a call. If you have DSC. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'll give Swanwick a call - they may help, but with data protection I doubt it.

Well, I can tell you that no member of the Moody Owners' Assn owns a boat called Liz. So you won't find out that way.
