can an extended swim platform be fitted???

Outdrives on the S37 LS. Does this make a difference?

YES.

Ended up giving evidence at County Court over a Doral with outdrives. Vessel built with installation just within guidelines, small extra increase in draft resulted in riser height being less than guidelines and lowered spill over point.

Yep it was a Mercruiser VM, and yard was still saying after the third tubocharger rubbish engine, then owner called me.....

We left the swim platform on and I had customised exhaust riser made.

Interesting, my last boat was a Doral, those swim platforms they added were huge, so it appears they didn't do their homework. I also read somewhere that Mercruiser had problems with risers, is that your experience. http://www.yachtsurvey.com/exhaust_risers.htm

Why? Is it to stow your tender ?

Yes spotty spot on :D if i put it on snap davids it is going to really restrict access on the back of the boat as the stern area is quiet small really and the 240volt plug is right in the middle

if its going to be too complicated i may just tie it down on the bow when we go out, its just a safety thing for me as i dont have a life raft and dont really want one would prefer the tender as the kids can have fun on this aswell

As you can see, you purchase extension arms to move the pivot point outwards, you will have to get your tape measure out ;)

yes i will do i have sent the dealer an email with a pic off the back off my boat and the dimensions of my tender and i will measure the platform next time i am down in about 3 weeks looks good though

is the extension bit the stainless part that is in your last picture

No, the stainless part is just something I made to pick up on the factory chock fixing points, the extension arms are the white Aluminium pieces, available in various lengths.
My tender is around 200kgs with 25hp outboard, so you need more than a bikini to get it aboard :)
