I thought £25 at Port Ellen on Jura was steep!

Propane is stored at a much higher pressure than butane

Can't see how it can be 'stored' at any other pressure than that at which the gas liquifies - which at say 38C is 14 atm for propane and 2.6 atm for butane IIRC.

Thats right. ...... and as the figures you quote, or the graphs I posted, show that is a much higher pressure for propane than for butane
