Cam Cleat Lubricant?

They must have bearings!! Do you mean no BALL bearings ... somewhat different!

Eitherway - I just used a teflon spray - not an oil based one ..
Even a bit of pledge would do!

I got a spray can of silicon lube from Halfords which is great for everything like this and helps the sail go up and down too!

Yes - no ball bearings.

A couple of them have plastic bearing sleeves on the shafts.

Some of them don't - they comprise of just the integral base plate and shafts in stainless steel. The pawls pivot directly on these. Cam caps pop staight into the top of the shafts.

Yep. I've had a can of that for years. It helps everything (erm) fitted new curtain track which seemed a bit stiff. Squirt of that sorted it.
Mainsail track (or the slugs), in fact anything that could do to run more smoothly.
